But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.

Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
As for programs, i use photoshop on almost 90% of my work, however Illustrator is a pretty good and standard program branchwise, so it's good to have that in you base aswell.
If you're into making vector based graphics then the tool you wanna look more into is the Pen Tool [link] both photoshop and illustrator has it, and it works pretty much the same in both programs. There's no easy "one-step-click" method to create vector sapes and figures, so it's all in your patience and your creative talent how well your results will be.
Practise it, experiment, implement your own thoughts & ideas and grow.
That's the best one-sentance tips & trix i can do right now hehe..
